‘Play-off zone’ Bradley Beal eager to win championship ring with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker for Suns
Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

Bradley Beal spoke passionately to a reporter after the comeback and hard-fought away victory over the Sacramento Kings. Furthermore, he expressed his eagerness to win a championship ring with the Phoenix Suns while stating his team’s readiness for the chance to win.

This came after he played a significant role as the Suns earned a well-deserved victory on the road. He was the star of the night.

Playoff zone, man. It's time. It's time. It's time to start playing defense. It's time to execute and take care of the ball offense. It's time, man. We want to win the ring. It's time. It's time. I'm hyped. I'm hyped as hell. I'm ready to go. Bradley Beal said

Bradley Beal came with a reputation to the Phoenix Suns and was supposed to form a fearsome trio with two-time NBA champion Kevin Durant and shooting master Devin Booker. Unfortunately, due to lingering injuries, that planned combo hasn’t been possible, and despite the disappointment, fans have seen glimpses of what could have been on a few occasions. However, his performance against the Kings showed his passion for succeeding with the Phoenix Suns

Against the Kings, he scored 20 points, which included 12 in the fourth quarter, had nine rebounds, and created four assists. Furthermore, his impact on both ends of the court was evident, especially with the crucial late stop on the Kings’ De’Aaron Fox. The Suns’ and their fan base would need this kind of passion from him and the rest of the team as they navigate the postseason hurdles.

Bradley Beal gets one over De’Aaron Fox

After the game, Bradley Beal shared how he felt about his late block on De’Aaron Fox. They once met when Beal played for the Washington Wizards, and Fox hit a game-winning shot over him in the 121-119 Kings win

I actually guarded D-Fox a few years ago in D.C., and he hit a game-winner on me going left. I've always had that in the back of my head; I got to get a stop. Bradley Beal said

The game was on the 17th of March 2021, and Fox scored 28 points, including the clutch jump shot he made over Beal. Luckily for the Suns’ fans, the zeal to payback led to a significant victory for them.

Furthermore, apart from Beal, Durant had a great game; bar the turnovers, he scored 28 points, five rebounds, and three assists, while Devin Booker added 21 points, four rebounds, and six assists. Sometimes, it pays to keep positive grudges, just like Beal’s over Fox.
