Defender spotted in training as Spurs prepare for tomorrow’s clash amid injury crisis

Tottenham Hotspur are going through a bit of an injury crisis right now.

The north London club are without a number of players heading into the game against Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

They managed to pick up a comprehensive victory over Newcastle United in their last outing and Tottenham will be hoping to build on that performance and put together a winning run now.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has recently handed opportunities to youngsters because of the injuries and suspensions in his squad. Players like Alfie Dorrington and Jamie Donley were among the substitutes in the last game. Donley was handed his first team debut against Manchester City earlier this month.

It seems that Jahziah Linton could be the next in line now. The talented young defender was handed an opportunity to impress in training this week.

The 19-year-old trained with several first-team players ahead of the game against Nottingham Forest and it remains to be seen whether he is named on the bench for the Premier League clash tomorrow.

Even if the 19-year-old is named on the bench, it would be an outstanding experience for him and the player will certainly receive encouragement to work harder so that he can force his way into the first-team squad.

According to a video posted on the club’s official YouTube channel, the 19-year-old was seen training with players like Giovani Lo Celso and Emerson Royal.

The Tottenham Academy graduate is highly rated within the club and he has a big future ahead of him. Postecoglou’s emphasis on young players this season could reap big rewards in the future, especially if players like Donley etc can use this experience to improve in the coming years.
